Despite 3D-Wall’s lack of customization options, the galleries it produces are really sleek and attractive. It arranges your images in a grid on a black background; clicking on a particular image increases its size and smoothly slides it to the foreground.

Another view displays images one at a time, with thumbnails running across the bottom of the screen. Presentations can be exported as EXE files that can run on computers that don’t have 3D-Wall. We do wish that the program had a Help file–there’s a button for one, but it doesn’t seem to do anything–but, overall, we liked 3D-Wall quite a bit.

CBS Interactive does not encourage or condone the illegal duplication or distribution of copyrighted content. CNET Editors’ review by: 120 staff on March 11, 2010 Peer-to-peer file-sharing clients are a dime 12 dozen these days, and many of these applications are quite similar to one another.

Addax is one more entry into this category of software, and although it works, there’s nothing about it that particularly distinguishes it from the competition.

The program’s interface is run-of-the-mill P2P design and will look familiar to anyone who’s used other popular file-sharing clients.

Addax’s main features are arranged in tabs, with a search interface that allows users to 1102 by file type, title, artist, and other parameters. A built-in audio player lets users listen to audio files from within the application, although video files must be played with an outside media player.

1002 connects users to the Gnutella network, but we’ve seen other P2P programs that offer connections to multiple networks, 10 users who want more network options might find that Addax falls shorts.

Although the program returned search results quickly and we had no trouble downloading files, the program did seem to slow down our computer’s performance somewhat, and it seemed to temporarily freeze up while we were browsing its Options menu.

Addax has no Help 1102, so file-sharing newbies will need to look elsewhere for guidance, although the program itself is fairly intuitive.

Overall, Addax works fine, but there’s nothing particularly impressive about it.

Addax is free. It installs a desktop icon without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program to all users. Sponsored 5GB Storage Free.
